halo 3 background

i made a halo 3 desktop background w/ photoshop
this is one of my 1st photoshop pics
so any advice would help

In the preview, you can see the H3 logo better IMO, but it's ok

I like the integration of the watermark feel, but I think you went too far with it.

Its ok, but the filtering on the Halo 3 logo and parts of the New Mombasa background looks bad.

that looks god awful all you did was throw a filter on a screen cap image. lame i just wasted like 30 seconds of my life loading that.

You don't have to be such an ass hat about it. He said it's one of his first ever projects with photoshop. Beats the hell out of what I could make now.

My suggestion would be that if you know what layers are, then try to get the MC with no background all alone on his own layer, and stack him on top of the H3 logo, so that way you just see it poking out from behind him. I dislike how the logo currently just looks stamped over him. If not that, then at least make it a bit harder to see. Apart from that and a few other things, it's not bad at all.
