Just a little thought

Post by DEATH x Valor »

Ive seen some absolutley fantastic mods at this site. But I cant actually play with them. Why? Because ALL of the best mods (or skins) are for old maps.
I only have a softmod on my xbox and I can only play modded new maps.
My point is, that I really want the best modders to think about making Good mods. cool enviroment skins, visable projectiles, lighting, weapon skins vehicles models, physics...you know basically EVERYTHING a good mod for an old map has.
If you can make amazing mods gor old maps. Why not make them for new maps aswell.
I am pretty sure im talking for allot of people here (my friends and people I know on LIVE at least) and that i`m not the only one who wants good quality mod for a new map.
There are some mods for new maps which are very good though (retainment).
I dont know that much about modding, never been good at it. But I do understand there are limits to what you can do on a new map (online)
, of course you cant put a scarab on relic or a flyable pelican (which people can see) on containment.
This is just a thought though. Just thought I should tell you, and like I said.. im pretty sure im not the only one thinking this.

Actually you can put a Pelican on Relic and stuff. Also if you want to see good mods go to the files forum. www.files.halomods.com

Just save the old maps to your hard drive - there's nothing stopping you from doing that, unless you already have a different game saved - if so, kill it.
