Just got back from a midnight showing of 300 in Imax...it was FUCKING AMAZING. It's easily my favorite movie of all time.

It doesn't really seem to catch my interest. I really don't like how they made it look like..... a video game. I know it was intentional to add an effect on the movie that is completely new, and will identify it as the movie 300 only. Hell, from the makers of Sin City, you would have to expect something like that. But I'm sick of old time war movies, there has been way too many lately.

The nearest IMAX to me is in Indianapolis or Louisville so the Theater will have to do tonight.

i saw the midnight viewing as well. let me get this clear, i am a huge frank miller fan i have a large array ofhis comics dating back to 1992. this movie was a travesty. the dialogue was terrible, you could literally watch the whole movies worth of dialogue from the commercials. it was visually appealing, it was just really fun to look at but when you get to the story the characters just didnt really have any depth to them. this movie failed big time. it was overhyped and now i have been let down after waiting and watching previews for it for over a year.

Funny what r0tten said, but look at his sig.

Anyway, I want to see this, regardless of how much it sucks. I'm not going to waste this last month I've been waiting for it just because some people on an internet forum said it 'sucks'.
