Most painful thing that's ever happened to you?
well, one would be whiplash from a car accident. 2nd day was the worst. my muscles locked up so tight that my back arched, and I passed out.
another was being caught in the blast of a flashbang... well... it might as well have been. a very large underwater photography strobe exploded in my kitchen. the shockwave caused our dining room table to lift, hit me in the chest and smack me against the wall. i had a concussion so bad i couldn't remember what year it is. i still have problems with that.
third was a bicycle accident. brakes were (wtf?) removed, steering disconnected. i was petaling full speed down the block, went to slow down and turn around a big... steel... american bumper... and of course nothing happened except me vs steel. i lost. bigtime. ended up with a fractured and rotated kneecap. as in the top was at the bottom.... the worst part was the doctors putting it back in place with no meds.....

holy shit, you guys are idiots.
i've never broken any bones, and the worst thing i've been stung by is a sweat bee.
the most painful would have to be my ingrown toenail. it basically started with my big toe being sore, then increased for the next 6-8 months to such a sharp pain i couldn't walk without it hurting. especially when i put weight on it. being in marching band, that happens alot. so anyways, while camping, i was wearing sandals, a bandage over my toe (because some odd bit of red flesh was moving over my nail from the affected side, about the size of a caterpillar) walking to the showers. lucky me, i hit a stick when i was walking, with the end of that stick jabbing that red thing. stick breaks, and i fall down screaming.
then we go into town to get it worked on, they numb my foot, and clip down the nail vertically to take off the side of it that has the spur on it (which jabs into your skin as the nail grows and causes the problem). it didn't hurt because it was numb, but the needle did.
anyways, that helps for a few months, then it starts hurting again, so i go to the bone and joint clinic to get the nail removed. since i'm a wimp with needles, they used their smallest one with an IV. after they finished, i was so out of it they took me out in a wheelchair, and i was passed out before i got to the car.
so now, i've got no toenail. now something you should know about the skin under a toenail is that it's EXTREMELY sensitive. every time i took a shower, the mist from the water hitting the tub would hit the skin and it would burn. then came the final obstacle. the gauze bandage they used to cover that skin just wouldn't budge. i soaked it in hydrogen peroxide for an hour, then got to it. after i was done, i was crying, which doesn't happen often.
after that, i was riding my bike when i was young. i tried going into the grass from the street, but went at the curb too shallow. my bike fell over, and i scraped my ENTIRE shin in the curb. from 5 inches below the knee to 3 above the ankle, and that hurt. and made a big scab.

ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

That's what you do to grind curbs. I do it all the time. If you're just the slightest angle off, rather than grinding you'll slide in a weird way and usually fall.[cc]z@nd! wrote:after that, i was riding my bike when i was young. i tried going into the grass from the street, but went at the curb too shallow. my bike fell over, and i scraped my ENTIRE shin in the curb. from 5 inches below the knee to 3 above the ankle, and that hurt. and made a big scab.

for me it was this time when me and my friend were throwing chucks of dirt at each other. He got angry and picked up a block of cement nailed me in the back of the head.
After that i picked up an axe (because there was construction going on) i threw it at his foot, and it took his big toe ALMOST right off, the bne was split inhalf.
I cannot belive i got in trouble for that
BTW I need 4 stiches

it's sorta like acclimation, and i never really payed atention to it until it was swelling and getting infected, then i was like "whoa, wtf is that." and besides, you get ingrown nails because you cut your nails the wrong way, most the other posts in here something stupid was happening.GametagAeonFlux wrote:You're calling us idiots...and you let an ingrown toenail go completely untouched for 6-8 months? >_>

This may sound a little cheesy and stupid, however, it's true. It's when I liked this girl and couldn't find the courage to ask her out, and I fell extremely hard for her. I swear to god that was more painful than any bone I've broken, or worse than any bad spills I've had on my snowboard/wake board (ice hurts btw. And water is like cement when you're going 15-20 mph).
But it's all good now
Yesh... *awaits all the stupid comments to come*

This last December, my friend tricked me into pushing his truck, then he started driving and for some reason I grabbed the tailgate instead of letting it go.
I'm pretty sure I was running at about 30 miles per hour before my grip finally gave way and I tumbled across the street. Surprisingly, I only got a fat bruise on my butt and a sore hand from slapping the cement.
I think I didn't let go because if I had, my face would've hit the pavement, and that would've been a lot more painful. >_>
