Major Headache....

Post by haloflames »

Hey everyone, I am NOT a nub at doing the whole PMI thing. I followed Johns instructions TWICE yesterday when I was trying to put marines in bloodgulch but it didn't work. Today I tried doing literally exactly what he said: to put c_dropship turrets into sidewinder. And guess what, it worked. So then I was feeling great about it and put marines in bloodgulch again and loaded up halo. Lan game, slayer gametype, BOOM--- EXCEPTION. Why does this keep happening? Is there something, ANYTHING at all you have to do differently when it comes to adding marines to bloodgulch? Any help in would be EXTREMELY appreciated.

P.S. could it be that marines cant drive in tanks? Or banshees? Or is it you have to be in a custom CTF gametype? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

You are not following the PMI process right. If you do it right, you will never get exceptions. You also have to De-Crap the model the [actv] of the marine too, or the weapon will be corrupt.

I really wish I knew what I was doing wrong...I just checked my build folder and it had all the tags I needed. I even tried adding the bitmaps and shaders of the marines, nothing will work. Its so frustrating. I can PMI the C_dropship gun turret but not a marine. This is really annoying. I hope someone figures out what I am doing wrong. Ask more questions like " did I de-crap the [actv] tag" I'm sure at least one of you experts will figure out what I am doing wrong.
