Yes, I'm sure a Mack could allow you to program everything you ever wanted... *cough*
Am I allowed to skin scenery objects (Not the BSP)? I have a few pieces of scenery I need to bring in from other maps like boxes and ramps for access to certain parts of the BSP but I'd like to skin them to match the BSP.
BTW, has anyone had any working ladders in Halo 2? Maybe if I just make a surface climbable and skin to look like a ladder...

Yes, there are ladders in two parts of the game that I know of:
1. On the beach in single player (the last part before entering the tunnel), the human building with the sniper rifle and rocket launcher has a ladder inside of it.
2. Waterworks: in the drive-through part at the bottom of the giant structure in the center, there is a ladder.

Oh yeah, god I totally blanked. I always remember the ladder building because of the rocket launcher. And waterworks...XBC-Requiem wrote:Yes, there are ladders in two parts of the game that I know of:

I know how to do it. Entity has an sbsp where I can go in and set surfaces to climbable. Except, there are usually around 30000 surfaces and I have no guide to it. Plus, I would need to find a way to edit the shader mapping because I bet it is just adding a generic texture to whatever surface I try.
That is an app we need. Click on a wall and it gives you the sbsp chunk number.
Thanks guys, but it looks like I'm back to ramps. Unless I can make scenery pieces climbable...
Oh, yeah, the stairway to heaven.CptnNasn0 wrote:also in headlong there are ladders.

ya on headlong there is a ladder, standing @ blue base warthog spawn, look out over top of the overshield spawn point. the very tall building nnext to the water,on the edse of the map, on top of it is a climbable wall. (it doesnt look like a ladder, it looks like a very thin attenae) let me know if u want a pic of the location, i can do that for u. if this is useless, well i tried.

Actually, the intro to Outskirts has that BSP, I think. You can access it if you use Yelo in the right place in the first cutscene. Only problems are that it seems to be just a flatish bitmap and a skyscrapper is about the size of your foot.
