It is a beach. It is a Scene. All bases covered. But get rid of the bigh white line on the left.

It's overcontrated and unrealistic.

Because your's is realistic as well... And what the hell is "contrated"? Quite a gratuitous statement if you ask me.

Since when is it supposed to be realistic? I think it looks good.

I don't really like this one. Too bright on the left, too dark on the right, and it's overcontrasted.

It looks pretty nice, almost like a watercolor painting. However, the random cut of light beach or something in the bottom right is kind of odd, but other than that, it's decent.

Mediocre at best. Doesn't really convey the feeling I get when I am at or think about a beach. All of the lighting is unneccessary and the clouds are, as NSN711 attempted to point out, overcontrasted.
Otherwise it is good for a new member.
5.5/10.

I'm sure he needs to apologize for not making something generic.

what do you mean "Generic"? It looks awfully similar to Exile's "Damien" Sig with that little boy in it.

Generic as in: Overused style of electronic art. Something that doesn't fit the description of what people would think would be normal in electronic art.
As for that guys sig, I never see anything like that. In fact I totally forgot about it.

I'm not a professional critic when it comes to Graphics but I would have to say that I really like this piece.
