Mainmenu Filter

Post by HaloEnthusiast »

I used shade45's mainmenu editor and removed the blue filter on my mainmenu.map and I actually kind of miss it now. Is there a tag or something I can mess with under dothalo to fix the filter? I've modified my mainmenu.map to include custom modded maps so I don't want to overwrite it with an original. Help is appreciated.

My only backup is one that is an original. It does not include the other modded maps that I've included since then.

Open up DotHalo/ADI and go to your Scenario tag.
Go to depencies
Scroll down to the end, and you'll see two "egor" tags.
For the first one, Swap it for effects\screen_effects\blur
and for the second, swap it for effects\screen_effects\desaturate.

Actually I've got yet another question for you. Are there any other filters other than the blue? I've seen modded mainmenus that are in black and I'd love to try that.

I would assume you could change the desaturate to another tag, seeing as that's what changes it from blue to orange.

I don't see any other obvious tags of which I can switch to. I did get it back to blue though..
