Modders help a first timer

Modders help a first timer

Ok so my friend helped me softmod my xbox(1) with splinter cell. So now i acn downloand mods so yadayadayada. i have some skin mods and weapon mods on some maps and super speed and superjump thingies too. But now im getting a little tired of these same old mods. what im woundering is how i download mods. i dont have Dot halo and i dont know what to do with it. i have super ppf sppf and all that crap. so if some1 can help me step by step that would be great.

What you say you've got is pretty much the basics of what you can download for mods, but take a look around the Download forums to see some great mods. And check out the Tutorial and Utilities section to learn about making your own mods. There's a lot of stickied posts with useful downloads and info.

yeah anyway, go to xbox-scene.com and look in xbox tutorials>ftp to xbox and they will tell you how to get started on connecting to your computer from there install halo 2 on your hdd by copying the disk, if you're using a softmod (unleashx or something) there should be a copy disk option. then download maps from here patch them and add them to your mainmenu. you can find tutorials here in the above tutorial section on all the steps after you figure out how to ftp to your xbox.

ok but i DID softmod but all i did was get IP adress for my xbox and do that pass and username is XBOX thing. So i dont have that option.
