Hello people, this is the first time i have ever thought of actually posting my skins!

Please note -
I don't have Photoshop or any other program than paint
I cannot afford Photoshop
This is my first official skin
Do not flame me because of the colors, Blue and Yellow are my colors, and those are the only colors i thought of using.

this is not that bad but try gimp, the free photoshop solution. It's not as complex as photoshop but it's pretty good.

That's cool. Especially for a paint skin.

I use DXTBmp and convert the .dds files to .bmp, send them to paint, and when i am done in paint i convert the .bmp file to .dds and inject it into the map.

So much easier to do it in GIMP(I'm using that, look in the Newbie forum fo a discussion between me and SuperCommando about a plug-in). Nice, but I'd prefer if you made the green blue. Also, what do you guys think is a good threshold and opacity for fill in jobs. I have 60 for opacity, which seems good.

Yes, i saw your topic, the reason why i did not use GIMP is because i had no idea that there where any .dds plug-ins for it, and i am not very good with it.

For those who are wondering why my colors are Yellow and blue, here is my Halo 2 xbox live emblem.

Image

I have been using that same emblem for 2 years, and i just did not think of using anything else for my skin theme.

I pray that new skinners don't see this

If they do, I pray they don't get the crazy idea that you can make Uber awesome skins in MS Paint... because 95% of the time, you can't
