The text is cool, but the whole thing is too small, the planets look fake, there are too many stars...

Overall, I just see more bad things than good things. :(

The biggest planet isn't a circle. You should also try to make your own textures. The stars should be subtle.

Search for Alyn's planet tutorial on deviantART. That's the best around.

Yeah, that's the same one NSN posted.

edit: The thing I'm most proud of this is the ship. Cut it by hand from this pic:

Sorry for the double-post, but I have an update for this.

Followed some tutorials, and this is definetly an improvement in my opinion.

I'm still not really a fan of it. The stars just don't look very good.

Luckily? You should always save PSD's.

i personally saved a copy of my stars after i made the big and little ones then i just erase sections to make them look different, you'd never know if i didnt tell you. the problem with your stars is theres just WAY TOO MANY and no DEPTH to them at all. however this is an improvement. try making different layers then adding a lens flare (small one) to each layer then using the color balance tool separately on each one, you'll come out with some nice stars that look a lot closer.

I've forgotten to save them before. :P

Anyway, I redid the stars at request of Ravn. Same url as the last update.

how to make a realistic star field: http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts ... field.html

read this, you're still way off, looks like all you did was lower the opacity.

Sorry for the douple-post... again. But another update. Same url as V.2. :)

I think I'm gonna redo some lighting on the ship, though. That looks out of place now. :|
