I worked on my color change maps. I used the bungie ones, except fixed them for primary and secondary colors but the color is on some area's it shouldn't be.
Anyone have any tuts for people who just got Max and have no clue how to make a good render? I need to render a model into a vid for a montage, but i need to get a model and skin it. I need a MC with a br in his hands and have the camera spin around him. Anyone have any thoughts how i can start?

You're talking about on his hands... go in and copy your primary CC map on top of your arms bitmap... and then fade it out so that you can see the bitmap under the CC map... then look for where the hand/fingers part of the CC map is whited out...where it shouldn't be... then just blacken it

noo sir lol... look at the palm of the Elite's hands... they're yellow on the bottom finger... I had the same problem when I did the CC maps for my Elite
That's the Halo 2 Chief model, which means TurboSquid shouldn't be hosting it, as it is illegal to redistribute. Go extract the models and bitmaps from the game.

Yeah, it's the Chief model out of the game, just not with the proper bitmaps and such and such...
I export an object to OBJ format on Entity (the latest version) and then import it in 3dsmax8 with the native OBJ importer, all that i get is a line and sometimes i don't get anything, when it imports correctly (only ships like the capital ship the cruiser and all the vehicles) the models haven't got texture coordinates, i have tried multiple importing plug-ins and programs any ideas?
