I made my map in GMax because 3ds max is a little pricy, and once i finished it with all the textures and whatnot, i attached the map to frame, and used chimp to export. i followed the readme that came with chimp, but when i went to save the actual JMS file, i got an error that said this
MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception
--Runtime error: Feature not available: "createFile"
any help at all would be nice, thank you.

Re: GMax chimp error
i know very little about gmax but i know alot about 3ds max and "maxscript" is 3ds max script.... maybe thats your problem? but since Gmax is made by autodesk it may not be your problem..genwhite wrote: MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception

it could be a version compatability problem i would also take a look at that.

No, you have to read the read-me that comes with chimp, you have to uncheck "Create File", and do Stream With Listener. Then open up the grablistener chimp came with and save the thing in that as a .jms file. Then open up the jms file and delete everything before and including-----begin jms--- and delete everything and including ---end jms---
But I would recomend useing Blue Streak JMS exporter.. It is tons better. And gives you way less errors that chimp normally would.

###paint_ballin_ground.tif
