first attempt at vector

Just mucking around seeing which style is best for me and made this vector sig and avatar.

I, myself wouldn't consider this "Vector", looks more like you made everything solid black.

This is what's called "blackout effects". I like it, but it's a little plain.

Even if it's nothing but a black fill, I have to give you props on the helicopter. It's almost flawless...That is, if you pen-tool'd it yourself.
