Mod: Special Ops on Death Island

Ok here we go!

My main goal here was to combine a few simple modding techniques to make death island a different kind of experiance. Mainly, what it feels like to be a hardcore ODST.

What's in it:
Fully driveable pelicans
New sky
Rain
Wall walking (real troopers use climbing gear!)
No fall damage (can't jump out of planes and just die can we?)
You play as a marine

Note:
I felt really stupid after finishing half of the stuff when I saw "marines on death island." I was like: awww snap! But still decided I liked my mod better.

My other ride is your alien hide!

final version
updates: all the stock vehicles are included, and the scorpion is finally useable. It doesn't fire in the rear 45 to 60 degrees but otherwise is perfectly fine. Late but finally working.

Nice, but HOW COULD YOU!!?!!? Ghosts and Turrets!?!?! Waaaaaaaaaaah. Banshee is cool but too many people use them as noob guns. Same with tank, but you can keep it in or change the animations by:

1. Opening up HMT.
2. Exporting the meta of the scorpion.
3. Open up the meta in text edit.
4. Change the word "scorpion-driver" (without the quotes) to W-Driver. Then the marine could get in.
5. Do the Same thing with thebanshee, except change "B-Driver" or whatever says to G-Driver.
WALA!! Your marine can use all vehicles! If you did that (not the wink) I would totally download. It's not what you think, It's what other people think. Because there the ones using your mods, and if you don't like a particular vehicle, host an MP game with that vehicle not in the map.

Where do I put the unzipped file in order to use the mod?

Make a Copy of deathsisland.map
then drag modded map into place of the original(non-copied)
hit replace and bam u got a mod

You're gonna have to be a little more specific than that, when you say DeathIsland.map, are you refering to the unzipped file that I just downloaded?

Late and minor I know but the update is here!
All stock vehicles are back and driveable!
The scorpion finally works correctly. The only issue is that the rear field of fire, (think 7 'o clock to 5 'o clock) which doesn't seem to exist.
