Because I smoke? Umm... I don't think that makes me cool, I think it makes me stupid, but oh well, life's short... I made reference to my own cigarette... because when I saw his, and the comments on the way the filter texture was, I honestly didn't really know (never spent too much time analysing my cigarettes...) So I looked and made a comment based on my observation... *shrug* If that makes me 'cool' then yay for me...

Yes, that is the gist of the situation.

Off-topic much? Ben you definitely need to tone down the ridges on the cigarette, and i don't really like how thin and straight it is at the tip of the unfiltered edge. Cigarette papers aren't that thin.

Hey guys been workin for a few days on materials thanks to some help from Ephrum and this is what i got so far
But you guys have anyidea how to increase the reflectivity of the visor im using a raytrace right now, currently the pose is just a test of materials and lighting so i know its not 100% correct. So what do you guys think?
IMO much better as far as I can tell... but if you want materials help you should post your renders without any special lighting Hit me up on AIM as far as the reflection stuff goes... and I can help you out more... but deeefinatly looking better then before (especially the one you showed me with the inverted bump hahaha)
*edit*... on second look... lol... the visor's bump still looks backwards/inverted...

I need help with creating a visor for my master chief. I used a tutorial provided on this site but cannot change the color of the Master Chief with that tutorial. I found a bitmap that can be applied to the Master Chief to give him everything he needs (texture, lighting, etc) but there is no visor. It's just black. Could I have help in recreating this?
Hello, i have made some masterchiefs and changed the bones positions for everysingle of those masterchief on 3DS, but now i loosed the uvmaps on each model
Can i copy the uv maps from the default masterchief pose to a masterchief model with another pose? to get uvmaps correct?
