Who Is Gman?

Who is this mysterious man from Half Life?
Government man
Bad Guy
Alien in Disguise
Figment of Gordon's Imagination?
Gordon's Father?
Gordon in the Future?

I think he is Gordon's alternate. Or Gordon's future self. I think he has some relation to Gordon.

Google gives insight to all...
From what I remember he is one who does not wish for the bad guys to take over even further than they already have...
He has forcibly employed Gordon ( to stop them. (From the last few seconds of playtime in hl1)
I can't remember the rest of the details...but its not himself...Plus, I'd kill myself if I knew I'd talk in such a cryptic manner, and such an annoying voice

Plus...GEE Man > Gman

hehe, one thing I forgot to mention, you say he has the same build as gordon...I don't know how you can properly tell, especially in that picture...Where Gordon has his HEV suit on and G(ordon)man has a normal, blue suit...

Also worth note is that Gman's earlobe is not attatched like Gordon's is...

The glasses fitting perfectly is also rather stupid...your modify images, you can easily just resize to your benefit to attempt to show proof...

Valve still doesn't have an official Freeman model. So you can't really tell yet. But I think the Gman has some relation to Freeman. I'm aware that he hires Freeman to stop the combine. I'm going to play through HL1 again, I think theres a lot of things I didn't catch.

Gman is Gordan's employer. He needs Gordon for some purpose. It isn't known exactly but Gman and his employers would somehow benefit from the Combine being defeated. Gman isn't a human despite his appearance for those of you curious.

Well, I've never played this, but if "Gman" is an alien, then he could be using "Gordon" as an example for a human disguise, hence the likeness.

not likeley because they see each other and gman goes away while you play gordan freeman. And if im not right on this correct me. But dont you control gordan before the gman? so that wouldnt be possible i thnk....but ya you havent played =P

i still think the fight club twist is still in play....

Every Human Male has the same build as the next Human build, just different skintone and face. Gman's head is more narrow, and more elongated. the facial hair matches the upper and lower lip, but extrudes over the chin, unlike freeman's, it blends into the rest of the face.
