lighten up on the scanlines and lessen that brush, and you got a not half bad LP.

The butterfly, the Arrows and the Circles, were all patens in sets, and even the length of the arrows off of the circles match the length of the brush's.

...what's your point? I was asking which brushes you were talking about. In specific. If you think I was trying to put something past you...well, I'm sorry. I don't steal art.

Cuda, people release resources for a reason.

Oh, here's some brushes I made, but don't use them.

I have nothing against people using resources and all, but the use of them really shows lack of skill and talent. For example, who is a better vocalist? Bono of U2, or William Hung?

its just better if he made all of his stuff from scratch, rather than use brushes.

It's not like all he did was use the brushes, the layer styles and placement of brushes can make or break the piece...and as far as I'm concerned, it looks nice.

I really fail to understand how using public resources shows a lack of talent. Lack of talent and / or skill could only be determined if the person using said public resources had proved time and time again that he was incapable of creating his own. And since you have no indication on that matter as it applies to me, your assumption is wholly invalid.

And for the record, I do make my own vectors, although I haven't recently because the pen for my tablet is broken (which pretty much rules out illustrator), and I don't feel like using the pen tool in photoshop when what I want I already have.

Lawlercopters! cuda you should be one to talk. Those icons in your sig are not yours and are not for personal use. Considering they are icons from j3's icon packs.

lolz, You know who I got these from? I got them from the artist himself. Afterparty, partner to j3. I got all of his stocks bro, I got PSDs and AIs for most of the works. I do have rights, and I didn't distribute them. so yes, booo for ripping. Afterparty lives down the street from me. and besides, I never said I made this. all the ones I claimed I made I made from scratch.

It's true >_> But yes, this topic has gone way off. Basically, Trepdimeflou could've made the vectors himself (believe me, trep owns at everything :( ), but due broken devices, he resorted to using a brush. Basically all that did was save him some time. I say the art is still just as much his, and I love the piece. Nice job Trep! :)

Good to see something away from the trend going around with just a render in the middle, then random splotches.

10/10.
