[Model] WTV Final

Post by -FC_Homies »

WTV =--This is a remodel of the Chain gun Warthog. I took some advice from a few people (who stated that I needed to put more effort into them) and re-invented the WTV from my previous model pack. It is much wider than a regular Warthog, and it has no turret. The windshield is much wider. I spent 1 day STRAIGHT and a full night until 3:3O in the dawn.

SUW =--This is a spinoff of the WTV, and has an SUV like body. It took 1 Full day to make this model.

Enjoy

10/10 I've recently been getting back into modding, but models are still dead weight for me... How do I apply a model?

As you wish, but you should have asked me before using the model in a modification. (If you were ready to produce the mod).

And the comments and ratings were much appreciated. :)

Looks nice! One question: why is the guy on the roof like that? Is that supposed to happen? If you're that person then it looks a lot nicer and cleaner than last time(at least, as far as I can tell(from these pictures)).

Correct. All that I did was run HaloHackerTools, select the vehicles/warthog tag, and changed the W-gunner seat name to B-driver (Banshee), then unchecked the "Fires Weapon" flag.

Why must it be confidential? You can tell me what exactly the model is in a private message.

HOW TO REMOVE THE TURRET: By (FC)_Homies
Open Halo Map Tools 3.5
Go to the Bitmaps tag
Select vehicles\warthog\bitmaps\warthog chaingun
Now click on the Swap button, a drop-down list should appear
Find levels\a10\bitmaps\cryo glass
Now click swap meta, and now you have made the turret disappear.

Hey I know what would make it look more like a truck; make the bed slightly longer, make the front roof a bit higher, make the windshield more steep; shallow angle glass rarely finds itself on trucks.

I appreciate the suggestions, but I am finished with the WTV and it's counterparts. I am working on something completely different.
