I'm sorry I'm posting so late in this (and without a picture too), and I know Trep already said this, but I feel it needs to be said again. The Halo 3 biped being shown in Halo 2 is not Trep's exclusively. I made every single texture for it (Normal Maps, Illumination, Diffuse, Specular), and Trep was the one who put it ingame (and modified quite a bit actually) with the reflections and the correct shader work.
Just thought I'd clear that up for some people.
Oh, on a high note, I finished the FP arms (Normal Map and Diffuse) for it earlier this morning, so there should be more of a resemblance.

That's partially correct, however, you only created the base maps that I modified to my liking for in game use. I'm not sure about these images, they have has extensive modification, but they are technically still built on the in-game textures.
As you can see, there was indeed extensive modification to the base textures I was supplied by Jean-Luc, including the illumination, bump, diffuse, and specular maps. Jean worked very hard on the textures, even though they were almost completely repainted for my h3 masterchief tagset.
