I bet the X button makes you disarm your opponent like knocking the gun out of his hand or breaking his arm, like a secondary melee attack. This makes sense because in single-player you can't break the arm of a grunt or brute. So in multiplayer it'd be a rather nice to knock the AR right out of your opponent's hand.

Disarming would be really retarded for Halo 3.

Besides it doesn't activate anything.

A shield grenade is activated. Hence the button pressed on the top, that's activating it.

Here are my thoughts,
X could be a fast run but only like maybe 3 seconds,
Could be a Wall Cover (go all rainbow6 on them)
Or that nade sheild but then no one would use nades? and itd be pointless and nades help alot,
Or like all the other ones RELOAD,
Could be to swap weapons or use machines!

I strongly suggest you re-read the thread, and pay attention to how most of what you said has already been debunked by facts stated by Bungie and other sources who have played the game.

x

Post by GKMods »

i think that x will continue to do ll the same stuff like activate things and get into vehicles. maybe something new will be thrown in but whatever i think will probly be rong and u people will find a way to criticise it. And i also believe that it would not throw the sheild grenade because there is already a control for nades and it would probably be selected like always via the black button. unless ofcourse since in this game there are going to be 4 or more types of nades (frag, nail, sheild, plasma and maybe another cononant one) x might bring up an interface for you to select curent weapon and nade.

When you press the X button the universe will implode into a singularity of infinite density causing existence as we know it to cease.
