This is my frist gun model that actually has some detail to it. It's still a WIP.
It has 3047 Faces.
Anyone wanna remind me how to do a poly count? I forgot.
Anyway heres a pic.
EDIT: Heses a close up.

wow.... thats nice and so close to the orignial.
Maybe make the gun a little longer next time, the proportions look a touch off but appart from that its good.

Why didn't you decide to make the grip NOT a box? Also, what's up with 6 sided cylinder at the front? You're trying to make something highly detailed, you could at least cut the low poly aspect of it's shape.
Dude. No. Do you even know who Katarn and Snaf are?They are some of the few 1337est modelers that have ever set foot in CE. =D

I know parts of it arn't round enough, but I just fixed that up a few minutes ago. The scope has 12 sides (yay) and I got rid of the ridiculous amount of faces he used on those intruded areas. So uh, its better now.

looks like a gun from the old nintendo game Perfect Dark the gun on there is like an alien gun with almost the same build minus the scope and but it shoot plasma bullets and explosive bullets as secondary

Pretty cool. Reminds me of when I saw the first paintball mod being made, when it didn't have a skin. Don't know why, but it took me to a cool place. Now model James Bond, Jaws, an attractive young female, a spaceship and I'll be a very happy camper.

ya the phoenix i love that gun duel wild and blow the sim bots to crap with it lol..................... i never finished that game (-_-) but i still have it.......... any way back to the model i like it takes me back the the nintendo 64 days when all the graphics were blocky and the guns were like mostly a square with a circle or cylinder on the end

Okay, well, if it's that way, you may have got it backwards. One face can be made of two polygons, I guess, but one polyon can't make two faces.

A face is made up of 3 verticies while a polygon is made up of more than 3 verticies, or vice-versa.
