well they DO look pretty ugly (only in the tutorial, your current sig looks pretty nice)

I think why people think they are looking ugly is that they are too big. They were meant to be smaller.

People keep saying that certain things were meant to do certain things in photoshop. For example.

you're supposed to use them differently...like to create lighting with a very large brush on soft light or a low opacity.

I doubt that's what the makers of the program had in mind.

Seriously guys, the tools can be used in whatever way the consumer, that's us, want. If Mr. Ho likes using dots, which I think are quite hot, then he can use them. If GTAF wants to use it for some lighting, he can to.

It's also kinda annoying when someone says "That's Ugly" at least say IMO.

I was talking about in the aspect of signature/graphic making...not the brush itself. Why do you think random distracting dots are "quite hot"? Ever heard of a focal point?
