Most of the time you find older people doing that, due to the fact that on usenet(pre-Internet), people didn't have the ability to show people who was posting a message, so they most always signed them with their name at the end.

But I'm not so sure Munsie has the same case. Maybe he just likes how it looks and wants to be cool. :X
