You can make fake thunder with TDTL editting beams, from far, that shoot fast too, because of Faster Arc Movement.

There are many ways of achieving the thunder though... If you send me your most recent patch this time I could probably do it :P

Good question....most of the scen is done...maybe i add some blocs to hide,new skin and some other stuff....and after that....the rest (weapon,player,teams...)

halfway i think...

In case people have forgotten this map, here's a little update:

I only have a few more textures to finish and it'll be all done. It's not going to be exactly as you see it here, though it'll be close.

I'm using an old screen cap trainer (I forgot the yelo button combinations to take pictures and was too lazy to look them up) so the rain and the waterfalls didn't come through with the pictures. All the better, though, because I'm really just trying to show off the texture. It looks like the thing is made out of wet rock, especially when you're playing on it. I'll post a few other pictures below that will hopefully show more of the detail and color on the rock.

That's enough for now. I'll try to get some with the rain and waterfalls and the such here soon. You'll have to wait for the release, though, to see the totally completed map. Again, it won't look exactly like this.

Also, they remind me of HSM's bumps in Dead In The Water II.

They are P8, and 100% proper. They are not, however, HSM's bumps he used. In Dead in the Water, although his bumps look spectacular, are not P8 bumps (nor are they THESE bumps).

Ah yes, it was Aequitas' genius who got the whole proper P8 thing working. But I give you credit for the actual bitmap for the bump, which you did make, correct?

I did indeed make it, and I appreciate your compliment :). I just didn't want to take anything away from Aequitas. Were it not for him, this skin would look like nothing more than flat bitmaps covering a wall.

I'm glad I have moved beyond merely swapping one bitmap per texture when I skin :). The downside: skins will take longer. Upside: They'll look a HECK of a lot better :D.
