I was givin a project at school to design and create SOMETHING. I decided it would be a new level for Halo.
The level is inspired by Lockout and Ascension. Name: Lockin (name might change)

This isn't the final product of course, there is still a lot of work to do on this, but it's good enough to post for now.
I still have a lot of skinning work to do on this map, and I'm thinking about scaling it larger aswell. Right now it's on the boarder between a little too cramped and perfect, so I figure making it a bit larger could only improve.
Prizz:
This map is a small indoor map, made primarily for CTF. It's basiclly a big hill with the two bases at each end of the hill and the flag spawns at the very bottom of the hill. I know that sounds kind of lame, and so that's why it's not a grassy hill, it's a metal one.
I called it Prizz because when I started the map, I wanted to make something similar to Prisoner, and so I made a smaller, more compact map than Prisoner. There are still some tweaks I have to make before I release it publicly on Xbox, but it shouldn't be long.
I know the top floor thing on Prizz (first picture, he's standing on it) looks like garbage at the moment. I just have it there as a layout test. No use making it look pretty if it's not gunna stay right?
I've been working on a lot of new maps and such for an upcoming map pack for Xbox. I want highly competative maps and most of the maps that people have made for CE are just screwoff maps. Then there are the other maps that people actually spent some time on, and they are just way too huge for any realistic play.
With that in mind, I have been aiming for smallish (1v1-4v4) maps for use on the Xbox. On CE people think "Well I can make it as big as I want, we can get a bunch of people online on this." On Xbox, you usually dont have that. Expecially with modded content. Small maps for a LAN/splitscreen are ideal for that audience. I need some beta testers aswell, any takers?
I'm done rambling... what do ya think?
Look at Page 2 for Prizz2...
