Problems with HMT and HHT

I downloaded the programs and i cant open or run the files, do i need something else to do this?

Also, I dont have Photoshop, do i really need it for anything other than new skins for stuff? and do i need it to use the downloadable skins here?

Any and all help is apreciated

download and install the latest version of dot net framework.

that should fix your problem

I found it (slightly) productive, and (mostly) funny

ok more help, I'm such a noob,
I got .net framework 3, installed it, tried to open the HTM file, still nothing, help

You have to open up the .map files not HTM.

ok let me get this straight, i just downloaded the HMT file, right to my desktop, and installed the .net framework, now i should be able to open the map files with the HMT file? cause i cant

You you said HTM in your post, I thought you were trying to open up HTML pages >_>

You use HMT to open up .map files, yes.

thanks, Jk-47 and church, winrar worked, but now i have a new, HMT related problem, (i'm just chocked full of them.)

I got HMT running and i found the tutorial it comes with, and started looking at that. It teaches you how to turn AotCR into a multiplayer map, then put a pelican model in it. It told me to make folders, then to extract the MP map Carousel into one. I loaded the map, tools>extract>batch extract, set the extract folder, selected "extract metadata" and clicked the start button, and i got this window.

clicked continue, it went away, i clicked start again, came back
clicked exit, closed HMT.

Hope that enough information for me to get some help

Edit: just noticed, it does this if i try to do anything with HMT

try editing stuff in the plugins for the tags. if it still crasheds re download HMT and if it STILL crashes.. well tell us what version of windows your running.
