Really old news. The first public beta was opened up at least a few months ago.

I rather just stick with RpgMaker 2003 or RpgMaker XP.

I used to have those a while back. Somebody on another messageboard I use wanted to make a game and he was asking for help, so out of curiousity I accepted and he appointed me Lead Programmer (I said I had some knowledge of C++, and I didn't know that RPGMaker used Ruby, so he accepted me anyway). But, I guess he decided to drop it since he never contacted me about it.
Xlink Kai: n1ghtsn1p3r. I'm not very good, but I play for fun.

XNA = Old news.

I never really got into it, seeing as it's not exactly noob-friendly. :)

The XNA is hardly a "game making program", its just a framework which allows game development. I'd also asume it works for any .NET based language, not just C#. But I might be wrong.

It's integrated into Visual C# Express, and as far as I know, only works with C#.

Shrug. I figured since its packed into .NET assemblies, that it should be usable in VB.NET...
