I got accepted to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute about two weeks back, so next year, I will be there. I am majoring in Electronic Media, Art, and Communication and minoring in Video Game Design. When they get game design accredited as a major(should be soon), I will dual major in the two.

Well, believe it or not, I'm still in Highschool. I currently have three jobs. I do Software and Webhosting, I am also a semi-professional magician, and I do Lighting Design for Theaters. But, I came to a realization that software won't make alot of money, webhosting won't, and to be a professional magician and make a living means you have to be extremly good. Lighting Design for theaters simply doesn't pay enough. So, after High School, I'm going to go into buisness. I plan to go to a community College here in Northern California for a year studying buisness, then I'm going to move to Anaheim(California). I'm going to continue college down there and get my masters in buisness, but I honestly plan to work for Disney/Disneyland for most of my life. I find Disney to be one of the most ideal buisnesses that has ever existed, and intead of creating my own company, join one that is already sucsessful. People find this strange, but I am obsessed with Disney and Disneyland(More so Disneyland). Ask me any question about it, and I can answer it. Anyways, Disney has an excellent College program. After working in operations for a year or so, you can be promoted to lead, and work your way up the management system. Also, my skills as a lighting designer could also be used seeing how Disney does alot of shows.

Disney is my Future. So nothing left to say but...I'm going to Disneyland!

I want to come out of the closet...

Edit: Rofl Locke! Mr. Post editor.

I was going to be a programmer or game designer but I realized the chances of actually succeeding are....slim because of todays society. I wanted to be an Engineer but I dunno, I changed my ways for some odd reason.

Thanks! I was just talking to my dad's cousin who lives out in Cali about me being interested in game design and he told me that he knows a few people out there that work at some companies and might be able to give me an internship. So now I am just waiting to hear back from him about that :)

I'm a junior this year, have yet to take the ACT but I need to do that soon. Applying to UW-Madison or some other school in the UW system for undergrad studies in Computer Science and Applied Particle Physics with a minor in Applied Mathematics, then going on to post-graduate work at MIT or some other type of school like that for Doctorate studies in Quantum and Particle research. I'm taking a trip to Switzerland in 2008 when I graduate to visit the CERN physics lab when they turn on the Large Hadron Collider for the first time, we'll see how that works out though. Interestingly many people theorize that when it's activated it will create a mini-black hole that will destroy the earth, in which case I'll have a front row seat =P

P.S., when that happens I demand my name be changed to Dr. jks =P

Matter of fact, Very coincidental you say this. I actually know a guy named James Mansfield that works at Disneyland and did Lighting and AV for the Buzz Lightyear Light show.

If you stick to professional companies that are most unlikely to be come corrupt it's a smart decision.
