hooking the xbox to crt monitor ?

Does anyone know a good product to hook my xbox to a crt ?? Links would be really helpfull if possiable. I know this really isn't pc modding but these forums are a lot more active.

The CRT monitor does not allow you to hook controllers in it, that would be the tower the one that actually does the processing. You might be able to find\make an Xbox-USB adaptor though.

Shacker, you flamed the guy and had absolutley no idea what he was talking about. I don't usually post except to post my mods, but I couldn't pass this up. He was asking how to display his xbox on a monitor, replacing the TV. What you need to do is find a VGA box. It converts The xbox signal (The Three Composite Cables, Red, White, Yellow) to a VGA signal, and then enables you to plug your monitor into that. I hope thats what you were looking for.

P.S. Shacker, I dont think he mentioned controllers once in his post? ?

You need an Xbox VGA adapter. The one you get depends on what you need it to do. If you have a spare monitor that you're just going to use with your Xbox, get any of them. If you want to use the monitor that's connected to your PC, you need one with a switch.

I just want to run my xbox on a crt monitor. Not hook the xbox to the computer. I know of one product that does it but I want to know if anyone knows of any others. This is what I mean www.x2vga.com . The point is a crt has a better picture quality then my crap t.v.
