First I Thought SpIII ( Read " The Ghosts of Onyx")

Than I thought Mc as a Kid (No Freckles though, that I could see)

than I thought just some random kids

Edit: Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's impossible for either of those kids to be John, because he was trained from birth/very young.

It's just kids talking about other lifeforms, most likely way before Halo, then cuts to Covenant destroying Earth.

Do you have any idea how unbalanced it would be to have shield grenades at your disposal as a normal grenade type?

The Brutes appear normal, but with heavy armor. However, the leader seems to have a hammer...

Tural and I think those are just heavier armored Brutes. Or it might just be the new design/look of the normal Brutes. The one in the center has a hammer ala Tartarus. He's become a Zombrute.

One for defense (well two)

And (Two) for Offence

Also We don't know what Kind of Shield it is ( energy

I think if you got one use per life, and it lasted like 1/2 a second like in the video, it'd be fine.

...I am stunned by your recent comments and their lack of logic.

If you have been following Halo 3 information, you'd know that
A) You can only hold two of each grenade type, you accounted for four.
B) The X button is something that "activates." Meaning it would be perfectly logical to activate a shield. It would be unbalanced to be able to pick up more shields off the map, because you could just whore it the whole time, because it has absolutely no skill involved, you just throw it when you're about to die. Considering grenades are used primarily offensively, and this is used defensively, I don't see it being another grenade. Logic states that it is the X button function.

I think that John was having a flashback, the kid scene, then came back to and realized he got knocked the fuck out. Has to be one hell of a hit to knock off his helmet.

Maybe it could be something that completely drains your shield and lasts for a second or so?

That way when it's unactivated, you're screwed. Maybe it'd make recharge take longer, and could only be used when you have atleast half of your shield.
