Guys, the mesh was made properly. I can verify that. Though the collision is very glitchy, just needs some work.

I really am not taking one side or another on whether or not this is infact for real. But its very suspicious that all he has to do to end this is release a patch, yet he chooses not to. Of course if its real, then he could be waiting to release a sicker patch with a better BSP and all. But in my opinion, why would you even bother posting pics, or even telling us you have a patch, when you dont want to provide it as proof. What harm could come from providing a patch?

Edit: And iv been out of the modding loop for quite some time now, but if you did inject a mach, wouldnt they be able to tell what it is, and where it is in the map? For example, wouldnt they be able to see its just a single containment bridge (as an example), and realize that this isnt sufficient to add colision to the cube. I could be completely off, please forgive me, iv been out of modding for a while.

But simply because you injected a mach, if you examine the patch theres absolutly no way to know for sure that mach isnt whats providing collision for the cube?

well one you could figure it out, and he really doesnt want to, 2 he does want to perfect his umm thing, and 3 i would be skepticle, if i didnt have the patch :wink:.

detox is right about the collision, the collision is a little to big inside the bozx, and its not enough onthe top, at one point it is very laggy, and at another its perfectly fine.

as for the gametypes words from dootuz himself

The part from the middle with the bridge going over. But he made the slopes straight down so it ends up as a box.

Am I right Dootuz?

I just looked through the thread a bit, and found collision pictures of this "BSP" and Hang em' High...What was the point in posting those pictures? Custom collison for the BSP has been somewhat perfected along time ago. If you plan on a method of proving its BSP, how bout' this...Open your map in the BSP Viewer, and give us a rendered pic, and in the pic, include the "Edit" tab, so we can see there's nothing checked. :D

Im not saying he has to, im saying he should release the patch, and if it is real, then the more experienced modders can prove his point for him. I just dont understand why he would make such a claim without physical proof. Did he really expect roses and champaign for a few pictures?

The bold red text is really annoying, we can read what you say just fine in its default state. Anyways this looks very believeable (questions self if that's how you spell it :lol: ), good job!

I oh and for the testers and the other people :) I fixed the collsion its about 75.7% done. now i just have to work on the walls.

I do believe you are doing something awesome. I'd like to see more of what you have sometime. So far though, it looks good. Just don't be bothered by skeptical ones. All the more to keep going.

Well, taking another quick look at the BSP collision today, I managed to name the rest of the unknown values. Also looking at the shared BSP I'm starting to get an idea as to how the BSP is created. Although I think this patch is just scratching the surface of the BSP, unless you guys have implemented the PVS Portaling system.

I'll Update the plugin at the TRP soon.

I dunno... I have read the whole topic and it seems to me like its a large mach with a new model and phmo with semi perfect collison. I say this because Doorm4n is listed in the credits. I remember with his castle the collison was a bit sketchy but it was done through a app that Trulife or Tunes'r'us made for him. Can't quite remember who though. It seems to similar and its possible you just nulled the bsp =\ .

Did you just shift the collision from a shared maps around in the Meta Editor in entity. because thats all that it look like from what I have seen. Even a slightly more complex object would prove me wrong so please make something more and then I will believe, because right now I am sitting on the fence. :?
