Xbox 360 halo 2 modding help?

Ok, I'm new onto this site and as I looked through this forum I found no thread to help me on this. I apologize if there is a thread on this and I didn't see it or if you guys hate these questions. But anyways here is my question. I have a Xbox 360 with a Globe 360 mod chip installed in it. Now I am very interested in learning how to mod maps on halo,skin weapons and vehicle and other mods. I have the modded xbox and a wireless router connected to my xbox through a wireless adapter. I need a detailed explanation on EXACTLY what i do to start modding. How to connect my laptop to my xbox,what to download,how to transfer it and a reliable source to get good mods from.

Yes im a noob, sorry for the question if it bothers you guys.

Whoops sorry i new it might be in the wrong forum. Sorry. I am not trying to learn how to mod to cheat in matchmaking. I hate people who do that. I want to learn to make things funner. Like golden guns,skinned vehicles, racetracks and guns that shoot tanks. Can this thread be moved to the correct forum or will it just be deleted?
