Plugging 360 into radeon x1800 video input software

Post by DarkBrute »

Yo, ive finnaly got an xbox 360 and i need to play it using my monitor. It is all plugged in and ready to go, but the problem is that i have no software that can display the input. Anyone got any suggestions or links to programs that are free and capable of this?

hmmm.... if a cd or any software came bundled with your card, check into that, and check to make sure the connections you have your 360 plugged into are indeed input, and not output.

I totally recommend the cable that Dos Mes linked to. Its basically a 40 buck ticket to HD gaming, but I suggest that you have a monitor for the 360 only and not have to share it. Some games distort the aspect ratios too, Gears is one of those games.

If your computer monitor does not have a -FEMALE- VGA input , and just a cable coming straight out, wich would be a -MALE- VGA, you will need a -FEMALE- VGA converter ~ this connects 2 -MALE- VGA inputs together, and looks like this: Image

What? This isn't a capture card. This is to hook your 360 up to your monitor so you can use it as your tv. You're so silly :P
