Halo1 and Halo: custom bsp in halo2

I dont know if the way your doing it works BUT Im almsot done with Hang em High In halo 2. I jsut have a cupple bugs to work out.

Converting a halo 1 BSP into Halo 2 by hand however would work ^^ =)

I was going to try that once... I tried converting small tags and it worked.

Ohh.. I thought you had it ingame and it had some freeze point issues, thats where I got skeptical. Anyways good job on it if you can get it to work.

and halo0001 dubble crossed me and almost got it from me

but i didnt somehitng and now he cant do somethign elles (LONG LONG SOTREY)

but yeah. and i Missed veggie always doing that

its funny somehtimes.

but i have alot of wokr to do... QUICK TO THE PETERCPOTER

You told Dootuz that you have Hang Em High in Halo 2.
And you asked him how he did his...

You obviously dont have Hang em High in halo 2...

Because I can tell obviously Entity cant inject this properly.

there will not be any halo 1 bsp's converted to halo 2, because the people that assume they can do it don't have 1337power enough..however detox got the best chances

Injecting the Collision as a mesh (no matter what anybody says, I know I'm 100% correct), will not work, the BSP collision must have everything properly calculated for it to work(Planes, Nodes, 3D Nodes). And not all of the level's collision depends on what's in the Collision BSP in the SBSP. Injecting a visual mesh should be possible with our current amount of knowledge (Although we'd have to null the PVS Portaling system... which would increase scene render times).

Same with collision.. Since it doesnt have faces extracted... A different map's collision will have the old faces links and the collision would be random crap flying everywhere.

Hmm.. so why are you people against Dootuz again? And seriously... Why cant you guys just take his word for it? I mean just becuase you might not be able to do it..doesnt mean he can't. Now as for the people who dont think he can do it, why dont you just help him do it instead of telling him he cant. halo001, dont lie, cheat, or steal. If you want people to take you seriously everything has to come from your hardwork and sweat. As the getting this BSP into Halo 2, why dont all of us just stop bitching at eachother, and freaking help one another as if we were a community, a team.
