PS3 or Wii?

I don't see why people want a Playstation anyway, they start acting like a dee dee dee in a year or two. I had 12 Playstations and they all stopped working right, my flat PS2 wont load BSPs.

I've had my XBox eversince the updated XBoxes came out, and it works perfect.

If you lived an extremely stressful life as lets say a company's CEO, worked heavy hours and rarely had time to take your ride for a spin, didn't have a wife or at least rarely got to see her...What is wrong with paying that much to be able to have something thats there to relax and take your mind of all stressful aspects of work? If I were getting paid like $200,000 a year, its something like a couple of weeks pay for a potential couple of years entertainment... I wouldn't care. But then again, the thing retails for $600 and it is possible to just wait until its back in supply.

The only thing is is that I believe some of the people just want it for the sake of having something that could be worth so much in such a short supply. And the fact that I don't believe the ps3 will even be that good due to EA and Ubisoft developing things for the 360 at the same time (meaning the system will probably not or at least rarely utilise its potential)

(Thankfully in Australia, gaming is not a massive industry like in Japan and America...The 360 has only sold 100,000 units and is considered the most succesful gaming system in the country for its time released...So with that in mind I doubtr the ps3 will sell out down here )

Yeah I say that no one can talk about the systems unless they have it, played it or have waited at least 5 months. In 5 months all the consoles will get an amazing update that will cost 50-100$ that will hook up somehow to the console, that will have all these features so that every console is exactly the same except for controls and a few games. It's just how things work.

Also I'm actually getting the Wii soon.

I have a reason for hating sony they sold a psp.

srry to disappoint you but power means shit in the current game generation. also I didn't say games suck nor anything but I see no features like the xbl ones on the x360 nor I see a rumble feature. I do see alot of expensive features that aren't necessary for the moment. For example x360 has a dvd drive and an ad on for a hddvd for those who feal need for the next gen format. I do recognize it has the six axis and I like that feature. Thats why im getting a wii

The whole point of "next gen" consoles being released, is that they're more powerful then the previous.

But honestly, all three systems are great and I have no clue who's going to sell the most.

I think the PS3 is being put down too much, I think Xbox 360 is also getting put down by some, but the wii is being put down way too much.

So many people have said the Wii is ***, but it looks super fun.

It's really all comes down to personal preference.

The Wii wasn't built with graphics in mind, it had gameplay in mind. And for that, it's the best console.

As for everything else, the 360. Halo 3 will be a hit the PS3 won't be able to recover from.

In my mind, the console with the best graphics is the best, since you can get the most out of what you payed for. The 360 looks nice, but I've play my friend's download demo of Dead Rising. If you kill more than 3 zombies at the same time it slows down to about 5 FPS. But the name of this topic is PS3 or Wii, so that excludes the 360 anyhow. Out of the remaining too, I'd say its just opinion. The PS3 has better graphics, but the Wii has worse graphics. Having worse graphics is sometimes a good thing. If Nintendo gave the new Zelda game blazing graphics that the Wii couldn't run, that wouldn't be very fun to lag around. So, PS3 or Wii? I'd go with PS3, cause because I'm power-drivin.

Your opinion is also bullshit IMO.

Graphics don't make a system. For the most part, gameplay does. Although everything does tie in to the overall decency of the system. (I.e. Gameplay, graphics, games available, cost, etc etc.)

PS3 is expensive.

Wii is fun as hell.

Xbox 360 has the games.

Each system has it's strong points. I vote Wii. I'd rather have fun then play the same old FPSs but with better graphics.
