Chain Spawning...

Chain Spawning...

Ok. I made a chain spawn for when a frag grenade explods, it tosses out 3 plasma grenades. The only problem is, no one can see the effect. Not even when I made a .sppf of the map and sent it to a friend, he still couldn't see the effects until he became host, and then I couldn't see them. Actually couldn't even see the frag, let alone the 3 plasma grenades. I tried using Entity to "Fix System Link" but it did nothing. Is there a way to fix this? Hope there is. Thanks in advance.

That's just how it is. I don't think you can fix it.

It plasmas should be visble to the non-host and non-modders. What effe did you use and how did you get it into the map?

1. Opened Insolence
2. Opened headlong.map
3. Opened coagulation.map
4. Drag & Dropped [effe] effects\objects\gear\covenant\battery\battery_explosion from headlong.map into coagulation
5. Closed headlong.map
6. Changed both [proj] objects\weapons\grenade\frag_grenade\frag_grenade > effe - effects\impact\explosion_small\frag_grenade\airborne_detonation dependencies to effe - effects\objects\gear\covenant\battery\battery_explosion
7. Changed all 3 [effe] effects\objects\gear\covenant\battery\battery_explosion > bloc - objects\gear\covenant\military\battery\battery_fragment01\battery_fragment01 dependencies to proj - objects\weapons\grenade\plasma_grenade\plasma_grenade
8. Saved after each change (forgot to mention)
9. Re-signed
10. FTP to XBOX

They work, but like I said only I can see them. I am thinking maybe because I imported the [effe] effects\objects\gear\covenant\battery\battery_explosion into coagulation.map therefore only MY map has that hence the reason no one else can see it? If thats the case, any suggestions on a [bloc] in all maps that would be good to use? I like having 3, but 2 is better than none right?

hmm thats wierd because all the non modder wouldn't be able to see is the effe of the explosion but they should be able to see the plasmas.
