[RESOLVED] editing and injecting bump maps in halo 2

does anybody know how to do this?

I know how to properly create a normal map, but i cant ever seem to get it into halo 2 without it corrupting.

is there a specific way i have to extract it and inject it?

any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

actually... it has.
i asked around and found that if you extract it with dark_matter as a jpeg. edit it there, and then import it as dxt1 with ch2r it works.
