I was thinking about buying the "connecter" (not the real name, just calling it that) that lets you connect your xbox controller to a usb port on your computer, so I could play Halo on pc with an xbox contoller. Has anyone gotten this to work before? Is so, can you plz send the drivers for the controller and a tutorial on how to set it up or you can just tell me...if you know, of course?
Any info would be appreciated. Thx
Has anyone gotten the xbox contoller 2 work on Halo for pc?

I can't live without it!!! I suggest buying one of those pre-fabricated connectors (looks way better than a hack job).
Also, here's the secret to installing the drivers and avoid all USB 2.0 compatablility crap. After installing the drivers(or whatever USB-related software that ain't workin right) do the following:
Step 1: Open device manager (easiest way is to hit windows button + pause break->system properties->hardware->devicemanager)
Step 2: Uninstall any flagged devices -will have a "?" or "!" next to it (also make sure the view tab is "showing all hidden devices")
**After uninstalling DO NOT restart yet, proceed to step 3**
Step 3: Click on the add hardware wizard and follow instructions the rest of the way...devicemanager will now "correctly" detect the USB device as well as it's corresponding driver.
