UnleashX problem

I just came from a halo 2 party and they modded my xbox... They put the extra maps onto it and told me that I somehow needed to switch the Mainmenu for the other one... I have no Idea how to to this and have checked many places on the web with no success... Again I am using UnleashX, and am trying to get to load the new maps...

If they Loaded the maptacular maps(*new*) via disk, it should have updated ur menu for you, but for whatever the case.....

I can see the maps in the E drive but they wont show up when I play the game... He said that I was also able to play the game without the Disk in (Saving it to the X-Box) But it says the disk is dirty...

the reason you cant see it is cause you deleted the auto update either re update it or go buy the maptacular cd to update it to v1.1 any time you like

No, it didnt work, infact my xbox wont even load the saved version of Halo 2 at all...

you did something wrong then or unless you meant your trying to load another map pack then the maptacluar but even tho you put the update that shouldnt stop the game from loading off your hdd

These are modded maps... There are too many of them to be in the map menu at once so they split them up... I need to know how to switch between them...

lets look at the unleashx.ini file, if you can ftp it over to ur desktop. Make a backup of it first. Then scroll down and look for the reference of where it loads games from hard disk. It will tell you exactly where it is looking for the games (the path), make sure ur Game folder cooresponds with that path!! example: Section "Play Games from Hard Drive" AutoAddItem "E:\Games" <---thats where your games should be. Sounds like the person who loaded ur dash has more xcuses than a crooked forum moderator *shrugz*

Yah, I just realized I had another problem... Let me explain:

I cannnot load Halo 2 using the saved version on my xbox. It says the disk is dirty. When I load the game normaly with the disk, the maps are not there...

Here is what is in my Games folder (In E): "Halo 2" (Folder) -> "Maps" (Folder containing the modded maps), and "default.xbe" (File)...

probly didnt pick up all the info off your disk, I heard there's places on the "Internets" you can get a new copy of H2, turrennt or something like that i dunno, is that how you get stuff from ebay?

I have the same problem. i have a copy of halo 2 on my computer hard drive. put it on two xboxes and one didnt work, says disk is dirty. so i copy halo 2 again, still didnt work. i dont know what to do about thew second xbox

Don't get too Discouraged. If you havent noticed my dispute, I have worked countless hours on projects, and when I asked questions nicely, I was misled, kinda like they tried on you when I Objected. I finally got them to work!!! It turnes out I had to rename the Mainmenu1.map to Mainmenu.map, and it works fine! Thanks guys!!!
