weather in BSP problem.

Post by T Beezie »

Well, I did a BSP conversion, I built the cableroom2 BSP into Gemini. The cableroom BSP has a "weat" reflexive, but if you build and swap it for rain or any kind of weather, it don't work :? I've done other BSP conversions w/ other maps and they always brought their weather and swapped out just fine. But, what's up w/ the cableroom BSP? :?

probably unreference bsp reflexive or tag thats not there because it needs single player shared map to locate for bsp.

Weather is a HUGE pain in the ass. :x

Going from a weather map to a non-weather map is really hard, a little less if it's a full BSP conversion, but still.

Not a clue why it shouldn't work as is.

I understand if you can't get rid of it, but then use it see here to spawn artificial rain.

That tutorial doesn't work, Skayter said so himself.
