How do I add my custom sound to my custom weapon?

I've created a test weapon and it works great in the game but I want to change the firing sound so I created a fireing sound. Successfully made the blah_fire.sound file and guerilla plays it fine set the class to weapon_fire. So my question is, how do I use my custom sound? I've been looking at the weapon files and I don't see a reference to any firing sounds.

Edit: Well I guess I found where to add it but I don't hear it in the game. I'm guessing it's probably because I didn't use that xbox compression. I tried when making the sound and I kept getting an error which I can't find anything about:

C:\program files\microsoft games\halo custom edition>tool sounds weapons\blah\sounds xbox 0
Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
Importing weapons\blah\sounds\blah_fire
MM: 'couldn't enumerate format.' (MMSYSERR_INVALPARAM#11)
MM: 'couldn't open stream.' (ACMERR_NOTPOSSIBLE#512)

I tryed the tutorials and topics posted throughout this and other forms but I dunno why it's not working.

Well, I guess it's good that no one replyed with any help because I figured it out. So It's a fire effect file just incase anyone was wondering.
