I want to know what is up with this "Let's make a game that happens before anyone knows Jack Schite. That ought to get 'em," trend?
I mean, why go backwards?..
I think it'd be leet to go ahead, and not back...
Humans are still alive, somehow.
The Covenant fought a different collection of races, and lost terribly.
The Flood has morphed into something completely different where they can walk among the infectee's race, and not be noticed.
Humans are rebuilding their old planet known as 'Earth' into something much more diabolical.
And this new collection of races are about to destroy the last little pockets of Humans civilizations.
The Covenant must try to reason with the Humans, to fight off this new threat, and utilize the 'true' purpose behind the Flood...
Meh, I'd still rather it on the PC than 360. =\

Yes, and dind't the Halo graphic novel have a story in there called "The Infinite Succor", in where a Covenant elite team infiltrate a downed drophip of theirs, and they were attacked by the flood?GametagAeonFlux wrote:Now that you mention it...that sounds right. But who knows, maybe there'll be a Covenant campaign/story where you fight the Flood in a mission or two while exploring a Halo which has no humans.

I do agree with you there...they're the guys you love to hate in my opinion. They're awesome story line wise and they do what they say...take you over like a massive flood. But in the levels like The Library (gasp), they got extremely boring and repetitive...it's not that they're hard because of their tactics, it's the sheer overwhelming numbers, and that gave them an unfair (but challenging, and on some of the lower difficulty levels, fun) advantage.
I hope that if they're in Halo Wars, it's not for very long.

Anyway...You guys think it'll be heavily story driven (Like c&c - generals) or be focused on action action action... Considering that it appears like everything on consoles has to be uncomplicated comapred to pc games (no need to upgrade hardware or install multiple cd's so they expect quicker fun and also mentioning the poor response for the large story nobody wanted in MGS2) it'll probably be like command and conquer generals having in game cutscenes before getting into the action...What do you think?By the last 4 people -iGeo wrote:I li3k 2 spam 4 teh post countz and join t3h 'net fad!
Has it been announced if its single player only or multiplayer only? Or anything? Or is it just the trailer...
