for the mod im currently working on i need to change/add/delet some sounds, could any one lend a helping hand?

What kind of sounds???? Sounds already on the comp or in Halo or sounds you dont have yet, on ur comp I mean, or you just dont have???

Here's the thing for the .ogg to .wav files.

http://www.audiosoftware.org/ASAudioConverter.exe

Extract all the sound files you want converted from a map to some folder somewhere. Then, all .ogg at the end of them. Next, open up Audio Converter, go to File > Select files into conversion queue. Then, on the left, navigate to the file(s) you want to convert, and double-click to add them to the right. Then, click done in the lower-left hand corner. Then, on the right, where it has the output format choices, select WAV, and hit the right arrow button. Tada.

As for helping to add/remove/change sounds, good luck. I've never tried it, but I wish you the best of luck on it.

the sounds i would find on the inet or take from other levels of halo or diffrent games. the main 2 things i need change are the eviroment sounds ( birds chirping, yes this is in bg ) and the gun fire changed to a lazer like sound.

Is that ogg converter free, cos the one on Spartania only lets you do 10 times converting...
