1. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32
2. Find cmd.exe
3. Right-click and copy it (or just select it and press CTRL+C)
4. Go to your Halo Custom Edition folder and either right-click and paste or just hit CTRL+V
5. Make a shortcut on your desktop that links to the cmd.exe IN YOUR HALO CUSTOM EDITION DIRECTORY
6. double click on the shortcut and you should get command prompt
7. type in "tool" without the quotes and you should see a list of things you can do
8. After that you can follow one of the many tutorials out there for making a map
By the way, if you want to make a .scenario file you simply would do something like this (when you are in command prompt)
E.g.
>tool structure levels\yourmapnamehere yourmapnamehere
so if the map was named destroyed it would go like this
>tool structure levels\destroyed destroyed
to make the actual map after you've calculated radiosity in sapien you would do this if your map name was destroyed:
>tool build-cache-file levels\destroyed\destroyed
Hence the reason you need to put a space when you make a scenario
.
Hope that helps
