No. First off you need Yelo which you probably have since your wanting to use xored. Follow this tutorial on how to use yelo so your halo 2 on your hdd will show up in xored.

No thats not common. Sounds like the wrong format like NTSC or PAL because thats what happened to my last xbox(NEVER MESS WITH YOUR EPROM). Do you have a softmodded xbox or hardmodded xbox? If hardmodded did you buy it that way?

Assuming your using unleash x. Okay go to your dashboard. Put in halo 2. Go to file explorer. Go to E then Games. Highlight Halo 2 by pressing X then delete it. Press right trigger to scroll into the other window then go to D then copy all the folders by highlighting them all by pressing X, then Start and Copy Resume. Reboot Xbox and press on games and then Halo 2 and see if it works.

Ok yes its supposed to be in the E. Now what was the name of the folder you changed it to? Like if it was Xored 2.2 then it would be "E:\Apps\Xored 2.2\Trainers" or just Xored it would be "E:\Apps\Xored \Trainers". Now if there is a folder in Xored 2.2 like mini or something it would be called "E:\Apps\Xored 2.2\Mini\Trainers". Understand?
What you have to do is edit the xored.ini file.
So open up the .ini file and find where it says Trainer Path and #Trainers_Path.
Code:
# 1 trainer path only
Trainers_Path = "C:\Trainers"
#Trainers_Path = "C:\Trainers"
and switch it with
Code:
# 1 trainer path only
Trainers_Path = "E:\Apps\Xored 2.2\Trainers"
#Trainers_Path = "E:\Apps\Xored 2.2\Trainers"
or if you transfered the files to a folderr called Xored it would be
Code:
# 1 trainer path only
Trainers_Path = "E:\Apps\Xored \Trainers"
#Trainers_Path = "E:\Apps\Xored \Trainers"
Understand?
Then ftp the new xored.ini over the old one.
If you still have problems with the flashing thing when trying to lauch the trainer thats because that means that you have a different place where you keep your Xored 2.2/Trainers.
