Rounded Edges are not your strong point, eh? If you are going to use the Polygonalmake really small points, spaced pretty close to each other, and if necesarry, pass over the same area once more.

I personally hate your testofskill mark. Sorry, it always seems to ruin the renders just seeing it there all big, red, and ugly.

Use the Pen Tool to cut out circular areas.
I use Pen Tool to cutout stuff, works well.

I use the Pen tool, and nothing but it. It works insanely well for cutting out just about anything. I'd highly suggest you switch from the polygonal lasso to the pen. I agree, your emblem is quite bad. I've found that my orb avatars look pretty good when slapped on renders. I also create a new style with all the orb avatar effects, and then I create text with that style that says "rendered by RaVNzCRoFT". Also, when posting renders on this forum, post them on top of a black or neon green background, so we can see choppiness.

For example, this. It just looks good, in my opinion.
