Xbox modding

Hey I've been modding Halo Pc for about 4 months now and im getting pretty good at it. Recently i have been seeing some pretty cool stuff being done on Xbox. I dont have an Xbox but my friend does.

I was going to buy him a mod chip and do some stuff for him. Can someone plz explain modding xbox for me and how it is different from PC? If not can you give me a link to a tut or something?

Sorry its just i got a hard time cause alot of people dont bother to help so if i have it in alot of places i can get all the help i need.
