Halo 2 Map Editor

I think it is about time that all of the best programmers and such all come together to make the soon to be most popular map editing tool. What i have constanly lokked for on the internet is a program or even a plugin for a program the can open up a halo 2 map allow you to edit it like the pros; in 3D. For anyone that knows programs like 3Dsmax and 3D Game Studio, you know what im talking about. Imagine that. Do you relize how much more fun and easier it would be to edit maps and make new ones. Maybe if we accomplish this, would could even be able to make our own campaigns!! OR OUR OWN STORYLINES WITH HALLO 2!!! But we would have to make sure we announced that it is all run off halo 2 by Bungie for copyright reasons. But still since the 1st time I glitched 343 guilty spark in halo 1 ive wanted to be able to do this.
Of coarse this would take plenty of time and skills but in the end i think it would be worth it!

Besides im always amased to play maps for H2 that ARE new. I dont know how you would do that. Please tell me!!

So please respond to this so i can get any idea of who is with me on this.

If you dont know already bungie will release halo3 in 2007 before they would ever release halo2 PC. So just if you dont know...

Say, would ANYONE have any ideas of any plugins for any programs for halo2 like for Autodesk's 3Dsmax? Or anything, cus if so im planning on maybe assembling another team to make something focking awsome. But i would need plugins for stuff, or i could wait for Promethius...

Either you make the plugin yourself, or wait for forever for promethius. Im just gonna wait for promethius. But for now, im just sticking with HEK.

then try Halodev's site and check their progress on Prometius to see if its worth waiting for it, or just go right ahead on making the plugin.

i dont know the first thing on scripting...?! Like stated before. But i can come up with ideas and make terrains. THATS IT!
