adding picture in 3ds max

Well i just started to model in 3ds max and i dont know how to put a picture into the program. Because i plane model and i need a picture to reference off of.

Any ideas

Like do you need to apply a texture?

no like i plan on doing a model of a gloc but i need to put a picture in so i can model right off of it. Its hard to explain.

Just go to file>view image file, if that's what your talking about.
